Conditions involving the integument in pet reptiles are common reasons for presentation to the veterinarian. This lecture will cover how to recognize common dermatologic conditions of reptiles such as bites or other wounds, thermal burns, infectious diseases of the skin and shell, dysecdysis, nutritional problems, and neoplasia, along with proper diagnosis and treatment.
