Description
Amphibians have been at the forefront of an extinction crisis for almost as long as I’ve been a practitioner! As is seen with the sister taxa (Reptilia), a large component of decline arises from infectious disease prevalence. In this review, we will overview reportable infectious diseases of Amphibia, emerging disease threats, and review evidence-based approaches diagnosis and treatment outcomes. A reference list will be provided for independent study and articles available at request onsite.
