'-An overview of the current knowledge of true fungi and oomycetes affecting captive and wild fish will be provided. The lecture will cover some generalities on the etiological agents, clinical signs of the diseases they cause in fish, diagnostic methods used by fish veterinarians and potential prophylactic and therapeutic methods.
