Here we aim to discuss several of the more common endrocrine tumor seen and sugically managed in veterinary medicine. The focus topics will be tumors of the adrenal glands, thyroid glands, parathyroid glands and pancreas. Throughout each subtopic we will review anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, staging, pre-anesthetic considerations, prognostic factors, and post operative management.
