Patellar luxation frequently occurs in small breed dogs and presents unique challenges in repair. Most cases manifest medially, often in conjunction with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture. This lecture will cover commonly employed repair methodologies, newly developed surgical approaches, and advanced techniques for managing patella luxation either independently or when accompanied by ACL injury.
