Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) was introduced to veterinary orthopedics in 2005, with significant evolutions in technique and implant design following its inception. The procedure is now available for dogs of various sizes, with TTA-RAPID implants ranging from 2 mm to 25 mm cages. With appropriate candidate selection, TTA is highly effective and may offer advantages in ease of mastery for general practitioners compared to TPLO.
