Dr. Krystal Mendoza is a third-year Shelter Medicine Resident at the Oregon Humane Society. Originally from Cebu, Philippines, she completed her undergraduate education there, where she discovered her passion for improving access to needed veterinary care. She attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at the University of Florida, where she strengthened her commitment to shelter and community medicine. In her free time, Dr. Mendoza enjoys spending time with her two senior dogs, practicing yoga, traveling to warmer places, and recently taking up racket sports.
