Sylvia Lesnikowski attended veterinary school at Tufts University, and then completed both her rotating small animal internship and residency in small animal internal medicine at the Animal Medical Center. She became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and is a board-certified veterinarian specialist in small animal internal medicine. She currently works at the ASPCA Animal Hospital as Director of Internal Medicine and Clinical Research. In this role, she combines her clinical experience and research background to promote animal welfare and expand spectrum of care in veterinary medicine.
