Dr. Katie Krebs is an Assistant Professor in Clinical Primary Care at the University of Pennsylvania’s Ryan Veterinary Hospital. She graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine with an emphasis in small animal medicine. She completed a small animal rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada before moving back to the US to complete a residency in Canine/Feline practice through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) at Virginia Tech. She achieved board certification in 2021. Dr. Krebs also competed an MBA at Virginia Tech. Her research interests include pain management of osteoarthritis in cats and implementation of telehealth for improved client communication. When not in the clinic, Dr. Krebs enjoys snuggling with her two Labrador mixes, Ruby and Zeus, checking on her bee hives, watching hocky, and competing in the sport of curling.
