Rodrigo Souza is Associate Director at Merck Animal Health with extensive experience in the cattle sector. He holds a PhD in Animal Science and an MBA in Agribusiness. His doctorate research in dairy cattle nutrition led to the development of dry matter intake and digestibility equations later adopted by NASEM 2021. In his current role, Rodrigo works closely with early-stage technology companies and focuses on technology adoption in the cattle space. Since completing his PhD, Rodrigo has held commercial, technical, and business development roles and is an active thought leader on the future of the cattle industry and animal agtech.
