As dogs age, their problem list usually gets longer. This can pose a significant challenge for the practitioner when tasked with recommending the ideal food for their patient. Dogs with multiple medical conditions often have conflicting nutritional needs that must be prioritized, along with pet and owner preferences. Using a real-world canine case, this presentation will guide participants through the nutritional assessment and recommendation process, with an emphasis on how to select and communicate a dietary plan.
