Dr. Katherine Mix graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her emergency and critical care residency at South Texas Veterinary Specialists in San Antonio, TX in 2016. Following her residency, Dr. Mix moved to the Dallas area where she worked as a staff criticalist at Center for Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Care and then MedVet Dallas. She currently serves as the medical director at North Dallas Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Frisco, TX. Her professional interests include acute kidney injury, toxicities and sepsis. Outside of work Dr. Mix enjoys spending time with her daughter, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 4 goats.
