Dr. Jennifer Rich is a veterinarian, neurosurgeon, and boarded neurologist. After practicing neurology in the Dallas Metroplex for 10 years, establishing a thriving neurology department in a multi-disciplinary specialty hospital, and cultivating rapport within her local veterinary community, she has adjusted her professional focus to public speaking, fostering a love for neurology in the primary care setting, and emphasizing the necessity of quality diagnostic testing.
Dr. Rich received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine with attendance at Auburn University, College of Veterinary Medicine for her clinical year. She then underwent a private practice Small Animal Rotating Internship outside of Washington, D.C., followed by a year of general practice in northern Virginia, and a residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at Mississippi State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Rich enjoys challenging her comfort level by taking on new endeavors such as rowing, latin dancing, rock climbing, car camping, and plant propagation. She is passionate about personal development and is an advocate for mental health both within and outside the veterinary profession. She is also a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady with plans for taking her two leash- trained cats on trail hikes and backpacking adventures.
