worked in small animal medicine for a few years in Colorado before moving to New Jersey and
starting her career at Nautilus Avian and Exotics Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Savo has been an
associate veterinarian at Nautilus for 5 years. She acts as the internship director in addition to
managing primary and referral cases for over 200 species of avian, small mammals, reptiles,
invertebrates, and fish. Dr. Savo plans to sit for ACZM boards in 2027.
