All patients deserve a peaceful and pain-free passing, including the smallest and least expensive of our pets. This talk will cover the humane euthanasia of small exotic companion animals using commonly-available drugs and methods, as well as a discussion of aftercare and the unique needs of exotic animal owners. Ideally, any practitioner will walk away from this presentation with the confidence of help when an animal is in need of relief, no matter how small (or furry, or slimy, or scaly!)
