Veterinary professionals are broadly trained, providing many opportunities for reinvention. Although veterinary education is practice-focused, it also provides unique skills not possessed by other medical professions. This provides the profession with diverse opportunities to change career direction without the need for additional formal education. This presentation will provide an overview of areas of veterinary medicine that practitioners might consider to find greater professional fulfillment.
