This presentation provides a practical, evidence-based review of anesthesia for rabbits and ferrets, equipping veterinary professionals with the knowledge and confidence to safely anesthetize these unique patients. Attendees will learn species-specific approaches to patient handling, pre-anesthetic assessment, venipuncture and catheter placement, sedation and analgesia protocols, induction and airway management, anesthetic monitoring, perioperative support, emergency interventions, and recovery.
