Laurie J. Landeau, M.B.A., V.M.D. took AQUAVET® I in 1981 while a veterinary student at Penn Vet. She followed this up by attending the very first edition of AQUAVET® II in the summer of 1983. In 1988, she was asked by Founding Director Donald A. Abt to join him as Assistant Director, and in 1993, as an Associate Director. Dr. Landeau is now the longest serving current director, and the keeper of the AQUAVET® legacy and archives. She gives several lectures on diverse subjects during the course each year, and enjoys the challenge of trying to make each summer’s version of the program the best and most memorable one yet.
