Speaker Bio
I am a final-year veterinary student at the University of Edinburgh with a strong interest in
exotic animal medicine, particularly rabbit health and welfare. My current research investigates
the impact of household environmental factors on resting and sleep patterns in pet rabbits. I am
passionate about advancing the understanding of rabbit husbandry and promoting evidence-based care
for exotic species. Alongside my studies, I am actively involved in peer-assisted learning,
supporting and mentoring fellow veterinary students. I hope to pursue a career in exotic animal
practice, combining clinical work with research and client education.
