Dr. Nicole Mikoni is a current Diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine, with
special interests in pain management, soft tissue surgery, advanced imaging, and odontogenic
procedures in zoological companion animals. After saving an injured Goldfinch at the age of 8
ignited her flame to aid all creatures feathered, furred, and scaled, Dr. Mikoni pursued years of
specialty training at the University of California, Davis to earn her boards certification. She now
works at Exotic Animal Veterinary Center in Pasadena, CA to provide high standards of care to all
of her patients.
