Dr Olivia Roose graduated from the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of the Université de Montréal in 2023, and followed her doctorate in veterinary medicine with an internship in zoological medicine at the same institution in 2023-2024. She currently works with exotic companion animals as well as dogs and cats in two private veterinary practices in Quebec, Canada. Dr Roose is particularly interested in small mammal surgery, ultrasonography and backyard poultry medicine.

Dr. Rudra is an Associate Professor of Statistics at Oklahoma State University. He obtained his PhD in Biostatistics from University of North Carolina at UNC Chapel Hill and worked as a post-doctoral fellow at University of Colorado Denver.

He then moved out west to work at Mountain West Veterinary Specialists in Layton, Utah as an exotic animal veterinarian. Stephen has a strong interest in reptile and amphibian medicine.

Dr. Alyssa Scagnelli is a Diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine. She began her career in Arizona at a private practice, exclusively treating non-traditional pet and native wildlife species. After 8 years in the desert, Dr. Scagnelli transitioned to academia and is currently faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she continues to treat zoological species, and also has the privilege of mentoring the next generation of veterinarians.
