I want this to be a lecture in which I share positive feedback about some exotics specific products that we use at our practice (or things I've encountered over my 20+ years) that have really worked well and made an impact on patient care. I don't like when people bash products, I'm all about giving credit where credit is due. This came to me as an idea at last year's joint conference because I overheard a lot of folks in the vendor section asking other attendees if they were familiar with some products, or if they've used it or have heard of anyone using it. It also didn't occur to me before last years conference, how many people were in attendance who don't see exotics primarily and really benefitted from learning about new gadgets in the lectures they attended. I think hearing about hospital must haves form someone in the field who uses them, rather than form a sponsored salesperson may be more relatable.
