The urinary tract is a common site of disease primarily in reptiles and amphibians, and urinary tract disease can be a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in these species. This lecture will review gross and microscopic lesions in the reptile and amphibian urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder [if applicable], and urodeum) important for the exotics clinician to be aware of and recognize.
