This hands-on workshop will teach how to perform basic to advanced reproductive surgeries in female aquatic chelonians from the prefemoral fossa, including: ovariectomy; ovariosalpingectomy; cloacal egg removal. A 1-hr lecture will introduce the topic, followed by a 3-hr wetlab in which this procedure will be performed on freshly euthanized turtles. This wet-lab has been ran for the past several ARAVs.
