Dr. Katie Lawlor is the co-founder and Director of Veterinary Mental Health Support (VMHS), a program of Not One More Vet (NOMV) that provides free and confidential mental health support services to the veterinary medicine community. She received her doctorate from the joint program between the Stanford University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology, and holds a master's degree in economic policy from Columbia University. Before her career in clinical psychology, Katie held positions with NBC News in Beijing and New York City, the U.S. Department of State in Washington DC, and the Governor’s Office of California. She is currently a Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics, and on the Board of the Snow Leopard Conservancy and Utopia Scientific.
