Meredith is a second year veterinary student at NC State University and a veterinary assistant at Avian and Exotic Animal Care in Raleigh, NC. She has been working at Avian and Exotic Animal Care with aquatic veterinarians Alissa Tepedino and Salina Locke for 3 years, where pet fish and other aquatic animals are an important part of the case load. She enjoys working with a variety of exotic animals, but is currently interested in aquatic and invertebrate medicine and research.
