Course Description: Cats…. the masters of hiding pain! In this session, the audience will review the nuances of how to assess and examine for osteoarthritis pain in our feline friends. The medical management options for chronic pain including NSAIDs, MABs, adjunctive analgesics, non-pharmaceutical approaches, supplements and environmental modifications will be discussed. Recent studies will also be reviewed to gain insight into best practices. Learning Objectives: 1.
