I am an ABVP Board Certified Veterinarian specializing in Canine and Feline Practice with 18 years of
experience in emergency and critical care medicine and surgery and over five years of experience at a
feline specific practice. Acute and chronic pain management are a special interest. I am a founding
fellow of the ABVP Companion Animal Pain Medicine fellowship and have certifications in veterinary
pain practice, acupuncture and veterinary medical manipulation. Managing complex cases, wound
management, and geriatric medicine are other veterinary interests. I have administration experience
and have supervised new veterinarians including ABVP residents. My instructional background includes
teaching at the community college level and providing presentations for veterinary staff as well as
holding an annual training seminar for local police canine handlers.
