Description
Despite abundant technological advances in medicine over the past century, the electrocardiogram remains the diagnostic test of choice for assessing the heart rhythm in animals and humans. However, the diagnosis often can be complicated by artifacts, and by mimicry between pathological and non-pathological rhythms. This session will review a stepwise approach to ECG analysis in intensive and critical care circumstances.
