In many referral centers in North America in recent years, the majority of cases of dilated cardiomyopathy in dogs has been associated with certain types of foods. This association is inconsistent, and yet has been demonstrated repeatedly. Amid ongoing findings and rapid evolution of knowledge, this session will provide an up-to-date understanding of the current status of diagnosis and treatment of dilated cardiomyopathy in dogs.
