The laboratory will be arranged in four main stations through which participants will rotate. At Station 1 participants will learn how to perform complete fish physical examinations including gill biopsies and mucous scrapings on cadaver fish to investigate for parasites. At Station 2 participants will have the opportunity to practice phlebotomy techniques on cadaver fish. Station 3 will consist of small group demonstrations on how to perform ultrasonography on cadaver fish. Finally, participants will also have the opportunity to become familiar with fish anatomy by performing necropsies on cadaver fish.

This workshop will be held off-site, and round-trip transportation will be provided. Transportation will leave in time for the workshop to start at 1 PM local.
