This lecture will review various diagnostic tests available with lymphoma and their utility, including cytology, PARR, flow cytometry, and biopsies. We will discuss staging tests and when they are necessary or useful for patients and clients. This lecture will also cover treatment options for canine lymphoma that you can utilize in practice including steroid therapy, Laverdia®-CA1 (verdinexor), and oral chemotherapy treatments. We will also include a synopsis of prognostic indicators and overall estimated prognosis with and without chemotherapy treatment based upon specific staging evaluation and specific forms of lymphoma (ie. cutaneous versus mediastinal versus gastrointestinal, etc).
