This lab is intended to serve as an introduction to practical techniques used for handling, restraint, physical examinations, sexing, and obtaining common laboratory samples in reptile patients. We recognize that there may be additional alternative techniques for some of those used in this lab. It is hoped that by completing this lab you will feel more comfortable and competent in using these techniques to successfully incorporate reptile patients into your own practice. Time and ability allowing we will also teach more advanced techniques.
