Puppymills get all the publicity, yet most of our small mammals and reptiles come from similar breeding and commercial operations. This lecture will look at the pet supply and distribution industry, and aspects of how these animals appear in pet stores. Included will be diseases, diet and husbandry issues as well as suggestions for how to manage animals purchased from pet stores.
