Dr. Amanda Wen is from sunny Southern California and graduated from UC Davis in 2022. She recently completed a hybrid Zoological Companion Animal Medicine and Emergency specialty internship at Pieper Veterinary in Middletown, Connecticut where this project was preformed. She is currently the inaugural intern at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, continuing to work towards a career in zoo medicine.
