After graduating from Texas A&M University, Kristen Turner practiced small and exotic animal medicine in Texas for 10 years. She established a successful externship program at her last practice, hosting over 20 students from 6 institutions. Her family recently relocated to Belize, where she provides virtual support and RACE-approved continuing education to veterinarians through her business The Exotic Vet Consultant. Kristen is passionate about expanding exotic veterinary education and improving mentorship within the field.
