Dr. Meera Music is the Co-Medical Director at the Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine
(CBEAM) near Seattle, Washington. A graduate of the University of Edinburgh Royal School of
Veterinary Studies, she is particularly passionate about reptile medicine and is currently pursuing
ABVP board certification in reptile medicine and surgery. Dr. Music has extensive experience in
emergency, critical care, and routine care for exotic species. She is an active contributor to the
field, authoring and presenting at conferences, instructing hands-on-workshops, and mentoring
veterinary interns and residents. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Music enjoys singing,
painting, writing, quilting, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Lofgren is a 2018 graduate of Penn Vet. After vet school she completed an internship followed
by a residency in exotic pet medicine at Long Island Bird and Exotics Vet Clinic. She later became
boarded in exotic pet medicine by the American College of Exotic Pet Medicine. She then moved to
Utah to join the exotics department at Mountain West Veterinary Specialists in Layton, where she
provides high quality care for exotics pets in Utah and surrounding states. Dr Lofgren is working
on ongoing studies in guinea pig infectious disease and serology and gecko clinical testing.
