Dr. Carolyn Cray is a Professor of Clinical Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the University of
Miami and serves as the Chief of the Division of Comparative Pathology which hosts the
international recognized Avian & Wildlife Laboratory and the Acute Phase Protein Laboratory. She
has authored and co-authored over 220 scientific publications. The study of acute phase proteins
