Hao-Fen completed her Master of Science in veterinary clinical science specializing in exotic and wild animal medicine at NTU. Due to childhood experience of witnessing a wild snake killed by a car, Hao-Fen is dedicated to animal health and related research.

Dr. Lisa Coder graduated from University of Missouri in 2013 and has worked equine, mixed animal, ER, and for the USDA. In 2021, Dr. Coder began Home Vet, an alternative/holistic veterinary practice. In March 2023, Home Vet expanded to become Vital Animal Veterinary Clinic - a surprise purchase, continuing a 30-year legacy of a colleague. Dr. Coder has two children, four cats, and a leopard gecko. She enjoys reading, teaching, writing, tattoos, and crazy hairstyles.
