Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Following her education, Kristen pursued internships at several sea turtle hospitals. Transitioning into her professional career, Kristen joined Gulf World Marine Park. Here, she continued caring for sea turtles in rehabilitation and explored cetacean medicine, working with dolphins in both managed care and rehabilitation settings. Currently, Kristen is the veterinary technician for Mississippi Aquarium in Gulfport, MS
