Dr. Graham graduated from Auburn University in 1999. She completed an avian/exotic internship at UGA followed by a 3-year residency in avian/exotic animal medicine at UC Davis. Dr. Graham worked at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston from 2006-2012 and ran the Zoological Companion Animal Medicine Service at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University from 2012-2022. Dr. Graham is board certified with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Avian and Exotic Companion Mammal practice categories as well as with the American College of Zoological Medicine. Dr. Graham is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV), Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV), and the Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV). She has authored numerous research papers, chapters, and books including the ‘Five-Minute Veterinary Consult: Avian’ and ‘Exotic Animal Emergency and Critical Care Medicine’.

John graduated from North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, then completed specialty internships at Mystic Aquarium and Indianapolis Zoo before joining the Fort Worth Zoo as an associate veterinarian. In 2023 he became the Assistant Director of Animal Programs & Conservation. He is the Louisiana pinesnake and flamingo SSP veterinary advisor, and a responder for the Zoo Disaster Response/Rescue/Recovery network. John is passionate about improving wellbeing within the veterinary and zoological professions.

Rennay Halbert, Graduated from NAIT from the AHT program in 2017 and has been doing exotic animal medicine since. When she first started working with exotics it was just a case or two a week and now in her current role as one of the senior RVTs at Harvest Pointe Animal Hospital more than 80% of her daily case load would be considered exotic by most! From the modest rabbits all the way to fish and invertebrates. Rennay loves the ability to really test her knowledge, skills and creativity everyday with this range of species and challenges they can bring day to day.
