Abby is an Associate Veterinarian at ZooTampa at Lowry Park, where she is pleased to be practicing in her home state of Florida. She earned her veterinary degree from the University of Glasgow in 2022 and subsequently completed three post-graduate internships with a focus on zoological and exotic animal medicine. Abby is currently completing a Master’s degree in Conservation Medicine through the
Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh, where her thesis centers on a retrospective morbidity and mortality review of multiple cobra species. Her long-term career goal is to achieve Diplomate status with the American College of Zoological Medicine (ACZM) and to continue contributing to conservation initiatives involving native and managed wildlife populations. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her fiancé, Nick, and brewery hopping with her dog, Guinness.

Pin-Huan Yu is an associate professor at National Taiwan University. His recent work focuses specifically on the fungal diseases in reptiles, intraosseous pressure in birds and fluid dynamic in exotic animals. As a passionate wildlife veterinarian, he is dedicated to apply clinical veterinary science in wildlife conservation.
